Am Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung in Potsdam ist ab sofort die Stelle einer
Studentischen Hilfskraft (w/m) mit 19,5h/Woche
zu besetzen.
Das Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung ist ein interdisziplinär orientiertes Institut zur Erforschung der deutschen und europäischen Zeitgeschichte mit Sitz in Potsdam. Die wissenschaftliche Arbeit des Instituts gliedert sich in fünf Abteilungen. Dabei kooperiert das ZZF eng mit den benachbarten Hochschulen in Berlin und Brandenburg. Es verfügt über ein international ausgerichtetes Gastwissenschaftler-Programm und arbeitet mit zahlreichen universitären und außeruniversitären Forschungseinrichtungen im In- und Ausland zusammen. Mit dem Portal Zeitgeschichte-online ist das ZZF in Deutschland zum wichtigsten Anbieter zeithistorischer Fachinformationen im Internet geworden.
Ihre Aufgaben:
• Administration der Netzwerkinfrastruktur (WAN, LAN, WLAN, Telefon)
• Betreuung der Webangebote des ZZF
• Unterstützung der Mitarbeiter bei technischen Problemen
Einstellungsvoraussetzungen sind:
• mind. zwei abgeschlossene Hochschulsemester
• gute Kenntnisse in HTML, Office-Anwendungen
• Technikaffinität
• Bereitschaft, sich in die zukünftigen Aufgabenbereiche einzuarbeiten

The Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung (ZZF) in Potsdam, Germany, is pleased to invite applications for up to three
Leibniz Summer Fellowships
for the academic year 2012 to study German and European History in the 20th century. These two-month fellowships provide an opportunity to pursue individual research in Germany while participating in the academic life in one of Germany’s major historical research centres. Founded in 1992, the ZZF covers a broad scope of Contemporary European History with currently five research departments that reach from “Communism and Society”, “Economic and Social Change during the Twentieth Century” and “Changing Concepts of the Political” to “Regimes of the Social Sphere” and “Contemporary History in the Age of Media and Information”. The ZZF library holds approx. 75,000 items and subscribes to more than 100 periodicals. Since 2009 the ZZF is a full member of the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft (WGL).
Applicants must have at least postdoctoral status with an outstanding academic record. They are expected to pursue their own research. However applicants whose interests relate to the research departments at the ZZF will be preferred. Fellowship holders will be assigned to a research department and asked to present their current project in a seminar or colloquium.
The Leibniz Summer Fellowships carry a monthly grant of about 3.000 €. The funding is supposed to cover all expenses including travel, housing, and insurance. Fellows are expected to reside in Berlin or Potsdam for two consecutive months between April and October 2012. The ZZF will provide office space and other relevant facilities.
The application deadline is January 31, 2012. Decisions will be announced not later than February 29, 2012. Applications must include:
- a letter of interest;
- a curriculum vitae (including a list of publications);
- a project proposal not exceeding 1.500 words;
- a letter of recommendation.
